Community Liaison

The Port O’Connor Chamber of Commerce acts as the public liaison to the community. Since Port O’Connor is an unincorporated village, there is no government to communicate with the public, the Chamber of Commerce serves as the communications and information center for the local public.

Business and Member Listings

Become a member and you will be listed in our Business Directory. Your business will have all relevant contact information, including a weblink for an additional charge. The cost is as follows: Single Business: $65 Single Business with Web-Link: $115

Rotating Web Banner Ads

Advertise your business on our website with a banner ad. We currently run a rotating banner ad on all pages that will link to your website with a size of 468 X 60 pixels. See image:

The price for running this ad is $150 a year. To use this service please have a 468×60 graphic available, send it to our web admin – alan@dolphinkayak.net, and remit payment via paypal or our address. When the payment is received your banner ad will be posted. If you do not have a 468×60 graphic please contact our web admin alan@dolphinkayak.net and we can refer you to a designer.

Additional Web Ads

We plan to provide additional space for web banner ads on other pages and for different sizes. The prices are still being discussed.

Ribbon Cutting Ceremonies

We provide ribbon cutting ceremonies as a free service to any of our members. If you would like to schedule a ribbon cutting ceremony please contact La June (see contact information).

Web Media and Content Publishing

Something new happening with your business? Do you have new pictures, written news, or videos you wish to share? If you are a member we will provide an outlet for your news or media for free. Things such as fishing reports, event news, boating or fishing videos are all welcome, as long as they are relevant to the community and enhance our community’s overall prestige.
