Crawfish Fest & Cookoff

The Chamber’s largest fundraiser, the 7^th Annual Crawfish Fest & Cookoff is set for Saturday, April 27, 2019. The event brings in approximately 3000 people and is one of the largest event weekends in POC.  Join us as a cooker, vendor, or visitor for lots of crawfish, live music, dancing, contests, horseshoes, craft and food vendors, raffle prizes, and most of all….FUN!!!

Memorial Day Kids Fishing Tourney

Children, ages 3-9, are invited to enter the Kids Fishing Tourney on Memorial Day Weekend. Free registration begins at 8:00 am at King Fisher Beach pier. Trophies are awarded to winning contestants. These are great family memories the kids will always remember!!

Kite Flying Contest

Following the Kids Fishing Tourney is the Kite Flying contest, with registration beginning at 12:30 pm.  All ages and all kinds of kites are welcome! Medals are awarded to all participants. Come and show us your kite flying skills!

July 4th Fireworks Display

Spend the day at the beach, following up with the largest fireworks show on the Matagorda Bay! Always the first Saturday in July, the Matagorda Bay is lit up with commercial grade pyrotechnics.
