POC Farmers Market
The POC Farmers Market is a community event promoting our local farmers, artisans and craftsman. The Market is held the second Saturday of each month at the King Fisher Park Pavilion from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm. If interested in becoming a vendor, click here for an Vendor Application & Guidelines. Member Appreciation Casino Night – February 27, 2026
The POC Chamber of Commerce would like to extend their appreciation to all our members by inviting them for some fun, food, and casino games (black jack, craps, and roulette). All members and 1 guest are welcome to attend Casino Night at the POC Community Center from 7-10 pm. All games are entertainment purposes only, no cash value. However, there are some awesome prizes awarded!!! If you would like to attend, but aren’t a member… you are welcome to join. Memorial Day Kids Fishing Tourney- May 23, 2026
We are looking forward to seeing the kids fish again this year!! Awards given for the biggest, littlest and most fish. Three age brackets: 3-5 yrs, 6-8 yrs and 9-12 yrs. Join us at King Fisher Pier. Registration begins at 7:30 am, and the tournament starts at 8am. Weigh in ends at noon. Bring your rod and reels… bait and snacks provided! Email kidfish@portoconnorchamber.com for preregistration. Memorial Day Kite Flying Contest – May 23, 2026
We can’t wait to see all the beautiful kites in the air, Memorial Weekend! No age limit, just come and fly your kite! Medals awarded for several ….. Registration at 12:30 pm and contest begins at 1 pm. Awards will be given for the highest flying kite, the first up, best trick, best homemade kite, longest flying, brightest, and more!
July 4th Parade and Fireworks
Come celebrate Independence Day with us! On Saturday, July 4th, join the parade at 9 am outside the JP office. Decorate your car, truck, boat, bike, or golf cart and show off your patriotic spirit as we parade through POC. Then, on Saturday, head to King Fisher Beach for a full day of fun from 10 am to 9 pm, featuring food and craft vendors. Cap off the evening with a stunning professional fireworks display at 9 pm! Small Business Saturday Poker Run-November 28, 2026
Join us for an afternoon of poker! Purchase your hands, visit each participating business, draw a card, and return to see who has the winning hands. Awards given for the best winning hand, and the lowest winning hand. Take this opportunity to visit our business members, network, and see what all Port O’Connor has to offer!
Trunk or Treat – Dog Costume Contest Saturday, October 31, 2026
Dress up your trunk, golf cart, vehicle, or whatever and come to Kingfisher Beach to trick or treat and pass out candy! $100 prize to best decorated! Trick or treating begins at 6:30 pm.
This year, we are adding an additional feature to Trunk or Treat… a dog costume contest!! Dress your dog up and have it at the Chamber tent at 7:00 sharp! Prizes awarded for the best dog costume.
Join us for an afternoon of poker. Visit each of our participating businesses to draw a card, making your best hand. Meet back to see who has the best hand. Prizes for the highest hand and the highest losest winning hand.
Lighted Boat Parade – December 5, 2026
The Lighted Boat Parade, to be held on December 6, 2025, officially kicks off the Christmas season in Port O’Connor. Locals, vacationers and participants from the Freeport-to-Port O’Connor Toy Run, decorate and light their boats to parade down the Intercoastal Canal. Awards are given for several categories. Christmas House Lighting Contest, December 16-17th, 2026
Port O’Connor is brightly illuminated during the Christmas season! The community participates in the Christmas House Lighting Contest each year. Seven categories will be awarded. To be considered, call or text 361-983-2898 with your name and address. Judges will be viewing on December 17th and 18th between 6 and 10 pm. Make sure to leave those lights on!
